Small Group Pilates Sessions
Learn the Pilates method of exercise on the Reformer, Tower, Chair, and Mat in a safe and peaceful environment. In addition to our in studio Pilates Equipment group sessions, online Pilates Mat group sessions are being hosted virtually to allow for participants to join us from the safety of their home. Release stress and build incredible strength of body and mind as you learn to move with new freedom and self-acceptance. At CORE, we believe in the power of community. Limited to 5-6 clients per session, you will find encouragement from others and detailed instruction from your trainer focused in on you and your goals.
If you are new to Pilates Equipment we require that you start with a few private sessions during which time you and your instructor can review basics, discuss goals and help design a plan to get you the most out of your Pilates practice. Following these private sessions, we’ll guide you into the Small Group Sessions that are right for you. In addition, once a quarter, we offer a Beginner Pilates Reformer 6 session series as a way to prepare you for a regular group that can take the place of private sessions if needed.
Group sessions range from $32 per session down to $19 per session depending on your level of commitment and sessions attending per week.
Schedule your complimentary consult so that we can help guide you to success! Want to check out when our sessions are?
Cadillac/Trapeze Table
The Pilates Cadillac or otherwise called, Trapeze Table, is a piece of equipment that most closely represents that of a bed with a frame. It takes our classic Mat and adds the springs for support and challenge. The trapeze table was developed in the mid 50’s or early 60’s. When Joseph Pilates, the creator of the Pilates method, brought his completed piece of equipment into the studio, one client saw the table and said “Hey Joe, is that your new Cadillac?” and the name stuck. Joe possibly got the idea of this table after working with Eve Gentry, one of his clients, in the hospital after her mastectomy. Another theory is that the trapeze came from his father’s days as an amateur gymnast or his original gymnastic clientele. Exercises on the Cadillac help to develop gorgeous lean muscles and improve blood flow and circulation. And can be beneficial for those clients that need extra support and/or cannot get on the ground for matwork.
