CORE’s Chair and Fundamental Yoga classes seamlessly bring together the core elements of yoga—breath, movement, and mindfulness. Focus is put on proper alignment within foundational postures and development of breath techniques. Students will learn: poses to relieve muscle tension; and increase flexibility in the hips, shoulders and back; strengthening poses to give the spine and neck adequate support; ways to improve posture and alignment; and relaxation techniques to help reduce mental stress.
