Walking in the door to work with Ruth Gordon and her team at CORE Personal Training and Pilates was the best fitness decision I ever made. I now have my best body ever at 40! I never dreamed I would have these results. I had worked with countless trainers and tried many programs before but never got the results I saw from CORE. When I reached out to her to look into private training, I worried this would be just another waste of time and money. I was completely wrong. I was ready and so were they. Ruth and her team knew how to push my fitness level while making sure I was safe and working with what my body could handle. They took the time to help understand where I needed help, support and knowledge when it came to food and diet plus they were always there to step up when I needed extra encouragement, motivation or even rest. They understand that fitness and staying healthy is a complete package and without them I would not have gotten these results. My time with them took an interesting turn when after a year of working with them I shattered my ankle slipping on stairs. I made sessions with them a part of my rehab once cleared and then worked with my PT team to help me regain movement. I was told I would never run again and I wouldn’t have full use of my ankle. My PT team was blown away at the progress Ruth helped me make. I just ran 20+ minutes for the first time. Not much for some but huge when you have 13 pins and two plates in your ankle. I’m so grateful I was training with her when this happened!
